ABOUT ME

I love all things advertising, marketing and persuading consumers to move the needle. As I have done this successfully throughout the years, the itch to write would occasionally appear on my back, in a position I just couldn't seem to reach. It was a calling that kept nagging, but life would always get in the way. So today I say ¡Basta! I am setting my intention of publishing an amazing book and becoming a best selling author. Sounds so assumptive, no? Well why not?

My short stories have a substance that is filled with inspiration, empowerment, and always a twist at the end. I am

drawn to helping women of all ages in making the same leaps I have made in my life. I also found the part of me that
I kept at bay— embracing my Latinidad/Spanish roots was also a nagging itch. I felt rejected by this side of my history because I don't speak Spanish and I am not necessarily a Mexican. I come form "The Forgotten Valley",
The San Luis Valley. A very special place where Spanish settlers stuck their claim in a land that was already inhabited by Native Americans. When my father passed away at a young age, sadly, that part of my culture passed away as well. 

 
So this journey is about my exploration of that part of me and matching it to the positive aspects that will build great stories. Stories to stimulate your itch. Stories that will play down that negative side of you and lift up that fighter side

that is inside of you. "Less Llorona, Mas Chingona". It is my brand, my book and hopefully your inspiration too.
